The SouthSide Approach

Collaborative

I believe in the power of collaboration to create exceptional patient experiences. As an extension of your team, I’ll treat your patients as you would - with the care and respect they deserve. I’ll work closely with you, your team, and your patient to develop a safe and effective anesthetic plan that exceeds your, and your patient’s, expectations.

Growth Mindset

We’re experiencing a huge growth in outpatient, office-based procedures - particularly in the dental realm. From pediatric and special-needs patients, to busy adults looking for a new smile, being able to manage these patients in-house is key to growing your practice. Whether starting an office-based program or looking to expand what you have, I want to help you grow, and in turn, grow with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • First things first, thanks for checking out the site - I do appreciate it!

Second, if you'd like to talk further to discuss your situation, click any of the buttons to go directly to the Form Submission page where you can provide your info and I'll get back with you as soon as I'm available! Email and Voicemail work just as well, too! That's it! (All links can be found at the bottom of the page)

After talking, if you want to move forward, we'll setup a time at your office to meet in person, do a site visit to make sure things are in order, and finalize all details.

  • Although anesthesia is very safe and the medical management of conditions is always improving, there are still certain patient conditions that don't allow for the safe administration of anesthesia in the office setting. Click here for a list of absolute and relative contraindications. Safety always comes first and I'm always available to discuss specific concerns and answer questions.

  • This depends on what type of cases we're doing, but here are a few highlights.

    1) I'll contact the patient/parents the night before for a quick Hello and to go over their medical history.

    2) I'll arrive early to get setup and make sure we're ready to roll. I'll also discuss any specifics with you and your team so that we're all on the same page.

    3) I'll meet the patient/parents in-person, do a quick review of the medical history, fully explain their anesthetic plan, and answer any final questions before getting started.

    4) As the case proceeds, I'll work closely with you and your team to make sure the anesthetic is going well and adjust as needed.

    5) As things wrap up, I'll awaken the patient and oversee the recovery. I don't leave until the patient leaves.

    6) I'll reach out to the patient/parents for a post-op check-in within 24 hours to make sure things are going well.

  • I'll bill the patient directly. I'm not credentialed with any private insurers, but will provide the patient with an itemized bill with CPT codes so they can submit directly to their insurance company for reimbursement if available from their insurance provider. An estimate will be provided prior to the date of service based on the planned duration of the case, and payment in full will be expected prior to discharge. Payment can be made online via ApplePay, PayPal, or any major credit or debit card.
